This mounting support made from MIM-4605 low alloy is used in laptop weighing only 0.05g. The microMIM part features a thin wall 0.3mm thickness, a through hole in 0.5mm diameter with screw thread inside, 0.1mm chamfer in one end of the screw hole. MIM proved to be the most cost effective manufacturing way for the high production volumes of 1 million per year.
